Coming Together on Palm Sunday: This year Palm Sunday will be different – and we hope you would like to join in. First Framlingham and Saxtead are coming together in worship at 9.30. Second the service begins for those who would like to walk by gathering at St Michael’s Rooms at 9.25 then walking around to Church and happily this year there will be a donkey joining us – so we just need you as well! The service will be Holy Communion but not a long service – and there will only be short comments rather than a sermon. Third after the service as many as would like to are invited to join in a morning of adult or child or all age activities including craft, Bible study on the events and meaning of Holy Week or singing. We hope there will be something there to attract you to stay for longer. So come to the service – and stay longer if you want. Finally there will be a ‘faith lunch’ this is where we share what we have brought as our food offering. It is an act of faith! If there isn’t a lot we will have to raid the biscuit barrel! Why do this? To encourage fellowship, to learn about what Jesus has done for us – and hopefully have challenge and enjoyment doing so. Holy Week and Easter are at the heart of our faith and it is good to puzzle our way through the mystery and the joy, the sadness and the hope it gives to us together – and strengthen one another by doing so. I do hope you will come to the service … and consider staying as well.
