Harvest Madagascar Appeal: Madagascar has been affected severely by recent floods and droughts. The Anglican Church is responding with emergency aid and training in preparation for future disasters. The PCC has decided that our Harvest Collection should go to this good cause as the world has largely ignored the devastation suffered there and the PCC wishes to show love and compassion for the people of Madagascar. Our money will go through USPG (United Society Partners in the Gospel) directly to the Church there & the PCC asks for your generous support.
Gift Aid: There are special USPG envelopes available for taxpayers wishing to give to Madagascar to put their donations in. St Michael's will pass this money together with any cash put in the plate collection today to USPG. Any other Gift Aid envelopes given today will go to St Michael’s church and not our Harvest Appeal.
Harvest Festival: Today’s Harvest Festival Service is followed by a ‘Bring and Share’ lunch. Everyone is warmly invited to join in, but there will be no coffee served after the service – just a delicious lunch!
