Services at St Michael’s Framlingham and All Saints Saxtead


Sunday 23rd December


9.30am           Parish Communion

6.00pm           Framlingham Churches Together CAROL SERVICE

                        Carols and readings take us from the Old Testament hopes and prophecies through to the promise of birth

The service is followed by refreshments


Monday 24th December– Christmas Eve


6.00pm           Carol Service- in the beautiful small church the crib figures are brought up as carols and readings tell the story of Jesus born in a manger. A lovely village occasion which is followed by  refreshments and conversation for those who can stay



3.30pm           Crib Service – Children from Framlingham tell the story of the birth of Jesus with carols and action. A short service suitable for all ages and a wonderful start to Christmas celebrations for everyone.

11.30pm         Midnight Mass – a Communion Service to celebrate the mystery of the promise of the Saviour being fulfilled. It is true – God is with us.


Tuesday 25th December – Christmas Day


9.15am            Holy Communion for Christmas with Carols



10.00am          Family Service – all ages are welcome for an informal service celebrating the meaning of Christmas with carols and humour

                           For those who wish to stay it is followed by a quiet Holy Communion service


Sunday 30th December

Benefice Service at Saxtead

10.00am          Holy Communion service at Saxtead for both churches – a   special time to worship together after the busy-ness of

                            Christmas a time to reflect and sing some carols as well!

                            Lifts from Framlingham will be available from St Michael’s 9.30am
