Ladies Coffee Morning and plant swap: The second Wed of every month at The Old Mill House, 10.30am. Wed 14^th November. All welcome.

Harvest Thanksgiving at All Saints SaxteadSunday 7th October. The church looked a picture, full of brilliant autumn colours and decorated with the fruits of the season. The hymns started with “Come ye thankful people, come”  and finished with “We plough the fields and scatter”, bracketing a thoughtful service of thanksgiving for the beauties of the earth and the fruitful produce of the land. Cheese biscuits and a glass of wine  brought the evening to a delightful close, and enabled us to welcome new residents, Anthony and Christina Darrell-Brown.
